Gander River Adventure Tours - Newfoundland's best kept secret!
Canada’s best adventure tour vacations can be found here! Flowing into Gander Bay on Newfoundland's Northeast Coast is the 37-mile long Gander River. Since 1991, the river's annual run of wild Atlantic salmon has increased steadily to over 25,000 fish - one of the most remarkable wildstock recoveries of the 20th century. And every one of those fish swims right by our door. During the main salmon run as many as 175 fish per hour leap right in front of our camp.
Our experienced guides will ferry you through the rattles and steadies
to any of the pools within minutes of our camp. Cast your line on secluded
waters. There are places here where the only other person you'll see is
your guide.

The Camp
Whether you book by the day or the week, you'll find hearty home cooking and
all the conveniences of home for up to 16 guests. That includes private
bathrooms with showers, electricity, comfortable rooms, linen and towels, and
cellular telephones.
Plus we've got a few things that are hard to
find anywhere, like top notch service, Newfoundland entertainment, a guest
lounge over-looking Gander River, and some of the best salmon fishing in North
America. Because of the increase in the number and size of the salmon in the
river, you're more likely than ever to hook a salmon that will land you in our
elite "20 pounds plus" club.
Because we are so close to the river, seniors and people with difficulty walking can still get in on the fishing action. Our facilities are also suitable for business meetings.
